Health and safety grants, worth $157.5 million dollars, are being made available to Pennsylvania school districts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act. State Rep. Marty Causer says Act 30 gives school districts funding to purchase cleaning and sanitizing products, training and professional development of staff on sanitizing and minimizing the spread of infectious diseases, equipment purchases, modifying existing areas to support appropriate social distancing of students and staff, providing mental health services and support and educational technology for distance learning to address coronavirus.
School districts are eligible for the monies pending submission of completed applications. The Bradford Area School District would get $217,711, Otto Eldred $145,736, Smethport Area School District $151,057, Port Allegany School District, $154,002, Kane Area School District $164,857, Oswayo Valley School District $135,411 and Coudersport Area School District $151,069.
Concerning Wolf impeachment my opinion is that our Reps should be working toward getting people back to work, repair damaged cities and prosecute anyone and everyone who broke the law and if they damaged any property they should pay for the repairs no matter the cost. Stop politician BS and do your jobs. That is what we are paying you to do
